a new semester, and a new start. i was going through my textbooks for next week's tute, and i realised that this semester's going to be a tough one. i can't screw up also, cos' i can't afford to. once things get going, this semester will fly like nobody's business. before you know it, you're preparing for the finals.

hhm... my MSN is a little bit cacated. i was having a conversation with my friend, was chatting chatting, then suddenly she didn't reply. walliau, i realised that i wasn't signed in ! but the strange thing is, i didn't get disconnected and my MSN still showed that i was online. wah, was "disconnected" for 30 mins and i didn't know it.
it's either my connection or MSN.

2nd part

here's the 2nd part of my holidays.

as i said earlier, i had 2 group of friends, from canberra and brisbane. this entry will be about my friends from brisbane, the shins: shin wee, shin yee, alysia?, and joan. shin wee and shin yee are sisters. to avoid confusion, we just call them chingy, heh.

i met them at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) in the city. that place would turn out to be the hq for them cos' they would meet there everytime, haha. we hang-kied for around that area while waiting for my cousin and corinne to come.

QVB is a high class shopping centre, all the stuff there are sooo expensive.

after meeting them, i took them to this Malaysian place for lunch. this place served food which has the closest authenticity to the food back home. staying in aus for half a year now has lowered our chilli powers, cos' ppl here hardly eat spicy food. this proved to be true when shin yee couldn't tahan the chilli on the cha kuey teow. speaking about chilli, drinking milk can definitely neutralize the heat in your mouth, seriously! and speaking about milk, try drinking it with honey, Mmm. hahah, i'm writing off the point now.

after lunch, we headed of to my uni. i don't know but everytime i take visitors to my uni, it will always be cloudy and dull, aih.. can't it be sunny for once??

then after the next few days, we went to this casino, Star City. this is the first time the tourists visited that casino. after studying here for 1 1/2 years, this was my first time also : / haha. i had to bring my passport along to prove that i was 18 ++. abit dangerous lah, carrying your passport around. i could have used a prove of age card but i haven't made it yet.

the next day, we went to the Hillsong night rally. there were 2 services, 5pm and 7pm. we decided to go for the 5pm one, but the line was freakin long man. so we waited for the 7pm. there were large chess and checker boards, so while waiting the girls played a few rounds. the service this year around was different from the previous years, the sermon was longer than praise and woship. but overall it was great. although we sat behind the stage, i was thankful that we even managed to get in.

after their trip here, the chingys, joan and alysia left for melbourne. had a great time with them, esp making lame jokes, haha.

where have i been

hi ho. the holidays has been great one. with friends coming from canberra and brisbane. for those who are unfamiliar, canberra is in Sydney but very very far from the city. the distance is equivalent from pj to johor. and brisbane is in another state.

for part I of my holidays trilogy, i'll be talking about corinne's trip.
ok, where to start.... i don't know where to start.

i can't remember exactly what we all did, but here goes.

for the begining of the hols, we went to this place called Blacktown to get her ice-skates. actually i didn't want to go wan, but aih.. forced to, haha.

Corinne also cooked for my cousin and me. walliau, so much food man.. could feed at least 5 ppl, haha. the only mistake i made was putting the steak into the microwave. tsk tsk tsk, remember, DO NOT put steak into the microwave or else it will taste like rubber.

Then johan(my cousin's friend), cor and me went to a gelato shop. gelato is this nice ice cream lah... italian ice cream. had 2 scoops of white chocolate and mint. Mmm, love the mint man. eventhough it's winter, you might be wondering why we still eat ice cream, well... cos' it's nice mah.

overall her trip here was a good one. she got to know pat's friends more, namely johan. she also realized that canberra is like ipoh..... quiet, hahah, nolah.

haha, but good also lah, must learn to move on. i've got lots and lots of photos of the holidays spent here. will post it up after my hols end. till then, i'll be lazing around, heh.
